WODC is a truly global tournament. Where else do you get debates between USA and Uzbekistan, Scotland and Nepal, China and Mexico, Rwanda and Australia?
We have a record 32 teams competing, over five rounds of competition. It takes the winners a gruelling 30 days to be crowned World Champion.
English proficiency is no barrier to success. The champions in 2010 were Lithuania and in 2011 the Czech Republic. In fact, no English as a first language speaker as ever won the tournament!
WODC has an unparalleled adjudication core, including a host of former World Champions, international debating champions, Chief Adjudicators and Worlds Council chairs. It is a fantastic opportunity to get feedback from the best adjudicators on the planet.
