Tournament for parliamentary debate "Equality Cup"

IDEA CA together with NGO "Kyrgyz Indigo" in partnership with BDC and RDB with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland and the US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan conducted a tournament on parliamentary debate "Equality Cup". The tournament was held in two languages: Kyrgyz and Russian, where 28 teams took part.

The tournament was part of the global campaign "16 days of activism against violence", which was first organized in 1991 by the Center for Worldwide Women's Leadership. As part of the campaign youth representatives discussed violence against women and girls, raising awareness of gender discrimination and discrimination against vulnerable groups of society.

The winner of the Russian league tournament was the team "Aidar" (Grana Zia, Tilek Shabdanov). The finalists were:

"I am Grouut" (Tilek Egemberdiev, Tamirlan Muktarov)
"Kana Sosyamba" (Eldiyar Baimurzaev, Meder Dzhumashev)
"In vain in vain Vain" (Begimai Kulova, Nagima Ozokeeva)
The best speaker is Grana Zia.

The best referee is Anastasia Shevtsova.

Winner of the Tournament Kyrgyzstan League team was "Master Ugvey and Kira" (Akylbek Omurbekov, Nurzhamal Asan kyzy).
