Nottingham Open

We're extremely happy to announce the biggest and best Nottingham Open yet!

We bring you five rounds with a break to semis over the course of two days in one of the most attractive campuses in the country. You will be treated to classic Nottingham hospitality; a strong adjudication team, crash, food and plenty of alcohol.

Saturday 3rd - Sunday 4th March 2012
5 Rounds of closed motions breaking to semi finals.

Details on how to register 
n-1 applies to judges
No Institution cap
£45 per team for British teams (£50 on the day)
£25 per team for Irish and International teams (£30 on the day)
NAMDA rules apply

Schedule (rough guide):
The competition will begin on Saturday with registration opening at 8.30 and closing at 9.30 with all five preliminary rounds being held then. The out-rounds (semi-finals and finals) will be held on Sunday with lunch provided in between (Real Lunch. Warm, served on a plate and everything). Things should end no later than 4 or 5 in the evening.

N.B. Crash is guaranteed for all teams and judges on Friday, Saturday and in some specials cases Sunday (i.e. teams that can't catch flights on Sunday evening).

Travel Info:

Venue: Main Entrance, Trent Building, University Park Campus. 

You are strongly advised to take a taxi from the station (unless you like 45 minute walks, or buses that don't take you to the Campus) which can be caught outside the train station and cost around £5 and will take no more than 10 minutes

The nearest airport is East Midland's airport (Which is actually in Nottingham) You can catch a cab which will cost around £25, or alternatively catch the "Skylink" which is £8 for a return that will take you to the Nottingham rail station (which you can catch a cab from) in under 30 minutes.
