Interview with Team Guatemala: We are not winning a lot but we are learning
Submitted by Manos Moschopoulos on 8 July 2012
We invited Team Guatemala for an interview after their first debating experience at the KPDC 2012.
Team Guatemala, which consists of debaters Rodrigo Marroquin, Susana Mesia and Yohan Mesia, come from a part of the world with relatively little exposure to international debating. The first high schools debating championship in the country will take place this fall. The experience the debaters and coach get at this year's Youth Forum will no doubt be instrumental in the championship's success, as well as to further spread debating through the soon-to-be established debating organisation in the country.
