Chennai Worlds 2014 - Thank You!‏

Dear All,

We’d like to thank the World Debating Community for the support and faith placed in Chennai Worlds. The Rajalakshmi Engineering College is proud and excited to bring Worlds to India for the first time. We hope that we can produce an incredible Worlds that exceeds your expectations.

We also want to recognize and offer commiserations to the talented team that put together the Chulalongkorn bid. The work they put into Chula's bid pushed us to improve ours, and Chennai Worlds will be better as a result. The Global Debating Community was fortunate to be presented with two excellent bids this year, and we can only hope that future Worlds are as well contested.

Over the next few months we’ll keep you updated on news of new sponsors, special guests, socials venues and other regular competition updates. In particular, we hope to have a flight sponsor in place in the next few months to make Chennai Worlds accessible to all. We will also release details of our open DCA application process soon. We’ll be regularly updating our website (www.chennaiworlds.com), our facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/chennaiwudc2014) and our twitter account (@chennaiworlds).

We’re also looking for feedback and thoughts on ways we can improve the Worlds experience. Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have.
