This page is intended for the students and coaches who have never attended the Youth Forum before.

Welcome and thank you very much for the interest in the Youth Forum. It has been a great experience for most of the participants in the past, so I bet you are going to enjoy it as well. This first introductory material is supposed to help you in getting introduced to the event. There will be more issues coming up later on as we go and also please do not hesitate to ask me if you have more questions!

To get a sense and good understanding what the YF is about you should:

• read the About the YF section carefully
• read a brief introduction about who is who at the event
• outline of the structure of the event with brief track descriptions
• read the Handbook on Karl Popper Adjudicationfull version and here for the abridged version to understand how is the KP format at the YF judged
• read our Idebate Magazine (Volume 8, Issue 1, october 2007 or Volume 7, Issue 1, July 2006 to get accounts from our participants from past YF.
• Download a video about the Youth Forum to get a better idea about the event!
• ask me, the Youth Forum Coordinator a lot of questions
