Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that this year's edition of FIAT! Debate International Tournament will take place between the 17th and the 21st of April in the city of Ploiesti.

The format of the tournament will be World Schools, in English. 

The registration already started and ends on the 15th of March. Because we have instituted a cap per competition, the number of places available is limited and therefore, each team will receive an e-mail of confirmation upon registration, until the cap has been reached. You will be able to access the registration forms on our website http://aesploiesti.ro/.

The fee for the four nights of accommodation, food, materials and other surprise prepared events is 60 euros, for debaters and 30 euros for accompanying judges and coaches. The accommodation will be made in a hotel located in the city center, near the high-school where the debates will be held.

We are also pleased to inform you that the chief adjudicator will be a special guest known internationally, with experience in this domain.

Also, please note that the teams-judges ratio should be n+1; for each delegation, the number of judges should exceed by one the number of teams. However, if you cannot comply with this rule, please contact us for discussions. We also invite independent judges to apply. The application procedure is the same as for debaters; the application forms for judges can be found on our website.
