Clifford Chance Durham Schools Debating Competition 2013

We are delighted to announce the 2013 edition of Durham Schools, once again sponsored by Clifford Chance.

After two days of debating, the competition is narrowed down to the Grand Final, in which the best four teams are given the chance to speak in our historic debating chamber, which has hosted famous speakers such as Nick Clegg, David Miliband, Bertie Ahern and many others. Additionally, there is also the chance for some of the newest talent in the debating world to shine in the Novice Final, following in the footsteps of many World and European debating champions who gave their first speeches at our competition.

We also offer the chance for students to socialise with their fellow competitors, with social events (including at the Durham Union's own, famous venue, 24) on both nights of the competition.

Registration will open in Autumn 2012. More details will be posted at that time.
