shall no statues at all !
shall no nude statues !
You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. (Holy Bible Exodus 20:4)

Having gone and looked at the bible online I think your objection to statues based upon the bible is a misreading/interpretation of what the bible says:
"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."
This is quite obviously talking about idolatry not statues in general. The intent of the statement is to stop people from worshinging other Gods not to prevent them practicing in art. (given the quantities of statues made in christian countries and by various churches throughout history I assume that this is how Christians have usually interpreted this passage).

there is no point castigating nude statues, or clothed statues for that matter. If you wish to interperate the injunction against of graven images as disallowing statues, or paintings then whether they depict nudity or not is irrelevant. I am certain that there is nothing in the bible against the raiment of an image, the question is over whether any images at all are allowed!
If the are not then please shut off your internet now and cower in fear of the Lord because the internet is full of images of all sorts!

I can see some objection to nude statues; our world is much more modest than it was in the time of the romans so some people might be embarrassed by them and a versy small minority may consider them offensive.
But for most people statues are a part of art; these can be works of beauty and you want to be rid of them for no reason at all except a book says something that is vaguely anti-statue? The people who are uplifted by the beauty of statues I am sure outweights those who are offended by them.

A genuine Reformed Calvinist or Presbyterian church will have no statues (or anything very much) in them. Churches in Scotland are therefore unremittingly dull!
Usually they are just the bare stone fabric of the building, and load of unornamented pews. If you are lucky the walls might be whitewashed! The only thing that might be decorated would be the organ.

While I dont know some of these religions very well I am pretty certain that none of them worship statues. They worship what the statue represents not the statue itself. All such religions worship God(s) they dont believe that the statue is God.

These statues are simply representing the human form, there is nothing wrong with that if there was we would not have these bodies. Why should be demonize the human body? It is a beautiful miracle. I think we should embrace the human form and statues provide a way to do so.

I have nothing against nude statues; today when a statue is nude it is usually to make a point. (most statues made today are clothed - or if they are not they are abstract!) And of course if they are older then I am for them as I am a historian and I believe in the preservation of old stuff!
I am interested to know why you consider it a sin. The quote given in your link "You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth" Seems to imply that there should be no statues and sculpture at all rather that that they should not be nude.
