A self-evaluative tool for students to augment their study skills and to maximize their learning efficiency. Originally developed 30 years ago for New York City's elite Regis High School, it remains a cornerstone of Regis' guidance and advisement programs. Each unit includes questions for self-evaluation, goals, and suggestions for improvement. The fifth edition offers additional material on the increasing role of technology in learning, most notably focusing on Internet research.
Frank Walsh is currently a member (and former chair) of the Guidance Department at Regis High School in New York City. His career at Regis has spanned 33 years, during which he has served as a teacher and chair of the English Department, as well as assistant principal.
Chris Reisig is a teacher of Literature and American Studies at Regis High School.
